Please read these terms carefully before using our website or scheduling services.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of roofrepair.co (the "Website") and the roofing services provided by RoofRepair.co and its network of licensed contractor partners (collectively, "RoofRepair.co," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By using our website, submitting a quote request, or signing a service agreement, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to enter into these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are acting on behalf of a property owner or business, you represent that you have authority to do so.
RoofRepair.co provides roofing inspection, repair, and replacement services through a network of licensed roofing contractors operating in 43 US cities. Services include but are not limited to: roof inspection, storm damage documentation, emergency repair, shingle repair and replacement, full roof replacement, roof maintenance, and gutter cleaning.
Service availability may vary by location. All work is performed by licensed contractors in accordance with applicable local building codes. We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.
Our free roof inspections are provided at no charge with no obligation to purchase additional services. Inspection findings are documented in a written report provided to the property owner. Inspection reports are the property of RoofRepair.co but may be used by the homeowner for insurance claim purposes.
All written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise noted. Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection; hidden damage discovered during work may result in additional charges, which will be communicated and approved before work proceeds.
Material prices are subject to change due to supply chain conditions. If material costs increase more than 5% between estimate and scheduled work, we will provide written notice and a revised estimate before commencing work.
Pricing shown on our website represents typical ranges and is not a binding quote. A written estimate from a licensed inspector governs actual project pricing.
All full roof replacements performed by RoofRepair.co include a written 25-year workmanship warranty as described in our Warranty page. Partial repairs and maintenance services carry a 2-year workmanship warranty. Warranty terms are provided in writing at project completion and govern all warranty claims.
Manufacturer product warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's warranty document, which will be provided at project completion. We assist customers with manufacturer warranty claims but are not the issuer of manufacturer warranties.
Warranties are voided by: damage from storm events, impacts, falling objects, or acts of God; work performed on the roof by other parties; owner or tenant foot traffic or improper access; and failure to maintain gutters causing ice dam or water infiltration damage.
We assist homeowners with storm damage insurance claims by providing professional damage documentation, written inspection reports, and adjuster coordination support. This assistance is provided as a customer service and does not constitute legal, public adjusting, or insurance claim representation.
We will not: waive your insurance deductible; submit inflated or fraudulent damage claims; or accept Assignment of Benefits arrangements (prohibited by law in several states, including Texas and Florida). Engaging in deductible waivers or insurance fraud is illegal and we will not participate regardless of circumstances.
Insurance claim outcomes are between you and your insurer. We provide documentation and support but cannot guarantee claim approval or settlement amounts.
Payment terms are specified in the written service agreement signed at project commencement. For insurance-claim projects, typical payment structure is: deposit at signing (typically 10-25% of project cost), progress payment at material delivery, and final balance upon satisfactory project completion.
For non-insurance projects, payment is due in full upon satisfactory project completion unless a financing agreement is in place. Financing is available through third-party lenders; terms and approval are subject to lender review.
Unpaid balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% annually) from 30 days past due. We reserve the right to file a mechanic's lien on the property for unpaid balances in accordance with applicable state law.
You may cancel a scheduled inspection at any time with no charge. Inspections are free with no cancellation fee.
For signed work contracts: cancellation more than 7 days before scheduled start date will result in return of all deposits minus a 5% administrative fee. Cancellation within 7 days of scheduled start date forfeits the deposit if materials have been ordered. Cancellation after materials are delivered forfeits the full deposit and you are responsible for material storage or return costs.
Emergency repair deposits are non-refundable once emergency services have been dispatched.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RoofRepair.co's liability to you for any claims arising from our services or website use shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, interior property damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed at time of contract, or damage caused by subsequent storm events after completed work.
This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

We want to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly. If you have a dispute, please contact us first at (800) 555-0100 or info@roofrepair.co. Most issues are resolved through direct communication.
For disputes not resolved informally, the parties agree to submit to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Each party shall bear its own attorneys' fees. Class action arbitration is waived.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the relevant services are performed, without regard to conflict of law principles. For website use disputes not related to specific services, Delaware law governs.
